Age: Eocene Epoch, Cenozoic Period, 50 million years ago

Matrix Size: 4 1/2” by 5”, Fish lengths: 2 1/4” and 3 1/4”

This is an uncommon set of 2 extinct herring ancestors along with a partial fish on a deeper layer in the same piece. The fish have been sealed with a clear preservative but their color has not been enhanced. Stand is included in the price.
