POLISHED LABRADORITE STANDUP
This is a very good quality polished Labradorite specimen with beautiful blue and yellow flash. This material, a member of the plagioclase feldspar group, is imported from Madagascar but the original discovery of less dramatic material was in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This polished Labradorite exhibits a natural blue and yellow labradorescence, caused by light reflecting off layers of microscopic lamellae within the crystal lattice.
